Seize the Sketch #2

Time to play along with the second sketch from Seize the Sketch challenge blog.
DSCF2569
I have played with a set of stamps from Avacado Arts using the grass to create the border at the bottom and the hot air balloon as the banner.  I’ve added some clouds and a sentiment which came with the same set.  The flowers along the bottom are from an SU stamp set called Silhouette Sentiments and coloured using my long forgotten Marvy Le Plume markers (they just happened to be closer to hand than my SU markers).  The balloon and the sky was coloured using Copics and I even managed to incorporate some of the left over paper from the Carnival Craze card.

Off to collect the MIL picture from the framers today and while we are down that way we will take Max for a nice long walk round Kit Hill and then hopefully enjoy lunch outside at the tea rooms at the bottom of Kit Hill.

What a sweet and, well, happy card, Linda! The recipient will smile from ear-to-ear! I love the meadow. The whole card is so well executed!

Thank you so much for your sweet get well wishes! I'm taking it easy and only making cards and blog visits. Mister is waiting on me hand and foot! Hugs, Darnell
