Buttons for 4 Crafty Chicks

DSCF1156 Finally here is the LO that included the two photos of Elisha which had been hanging around my workdesk for at least three weeks.  I'm able to use this one to enter the challenge on the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge blog as they wanted you to use buttons.  The buttons I have used were made using the SU button embossing die in Real Red and Pretty in Pink cardstock.  The hearts were cut out using a Creative Memories tool and all the papers and cardstock are from SU. The gorgeous lace ribbon and Love tickets are also from a set which will be available in the new Spring catalogue.

The photo prompt for today is SUN and I was a bit worried with the rain last night that we might not get any sunshine today but it did decided to come out so I could play along and keep up with the prompts.  This was taken fairly early this morning as the sun was coming up from behind the houses and shining directly into our living room, keeping the front of the house nice and warm for a few hours.

I've just finished watching the tennis, obviously disappointed that Andy Murray wasn't able to win his second grand slam but he certainly made it hard for Djocovik.  While disappointed that Andy lost I also like Novak so the disappointment wasn't quite so great as it could have been - that man is an unbelievable tennis player and what an achievement to win three Australian titles in a row - history made yet again.

I now have the unenviable task of catching up on the housework.  Hopefully this evening I can relax and either do some stitching or knitting.  Hope you all enjoy your day.

Fabulous LO with all those gorgeous red buttons and hearts Linda. Two lovely picutures too. Such a shame that Andy didn't win though. Your sunshine pic looks like it was taken VERY early this morning LOL Hope the h*******k is soon finished giving you a nice long time for crafting !

Very pretty. Sunshine in abundance here today, and very lovely it's been too after all the snow recently.

Lovely LO Linda, such a cutie. It has been lovely today to look out of the window and not see snow, snow and more snow. I have been sorting out all my scrap pieces of card today. Had to be strong and throw some out :-) Have also worked out the order of my knitted squares for charity blanket- just have to sew them up. Don't enjoy that part. Like sewing but not sewing up knitting. Am contemplating making a quilt for Jozarty appeal. Never made one but willing to try. Also amde a card today.
Take care Anne x
