WOYWW #186

I hope you have all been enjoying the Christmas holidays.  While the weather outside has definitely been frightful we have had the enjoyment of seeing all our grandchildren so excited with all the presents that Santa had brought them this year.

DSCF1708My crafting this week has been spent on the baby blanket and I am happy to report that I am probably about a quarter of the way with this - fingers crossed progress will continue to go well. I decided I would spend any spare time I had over the festive period working on this as this is one project that does need to get completed in plenty of time.  Hopefully I will be back at my crafting desk soon and joining in with some of the many challenge blogs in the New Year.  Off now to check out some of the other WOYWW bloggers thanks to Julia at the Stamping Ground

Hello Linda and so glad you've sharing with your grandchildren. We have spent Christmas Day and part of today with my youngest son and my lovely DIL and granddaughters. They are such a joy aren't they loved the sparkle and excitement in their eyes and their joy in their presents and our company. We will see my elder son and another lovely DIL and my grandsons at the weekend. ( They live further afield not only from us but my DIL's parents as well so we take it in turns to spend Christmas with them.
The baby blanket is looking lovely. Happy New Year to you. Anne x #54

Your baby blanket is looking pretty, and it looks so soft and fluffy! Waving hi from the rainy, but wishing it was snowing hills of North Carolina for the last WOYWW of 2012!!

You have been making good progress, Linda. It is so lovely. I don't blame you for making that your major project. I know I'm that way, one thing at a time for me.

I've enjoyed getting to know you! I wish you all the best for a happy and healthy new year!! Darnell

The blanket is looking lovely Linda - I too have been doing some knitting during the festive period. After packing away my sewing machine so we could use the table for christmas dinner, I thought knitting was more 'family friendly' !! Sitting with everyone knitting is perfect.

Looking forward to seeing your projects once you get back to your crafting table.
