WOYWW #181

DSCF1501 Time to join in the fun with WOYWW as Julia's Stamping Ground.  On my workdesk this week are the remnants from the cards and LO's I created last week for Mondays workshop.  There's also the LO that was on my desk a couple of weeks ago which with any luck will get worked upon later in the week.  You may also notice a jar of jelly beans which just help sometimes when inspiration is lacking!

The workshop went well on Monday evening, reasonable sales and another booking for next year so lots of positives from that.  As they were all scrapbookers it was nice to introduce them to cardmaking and also how to use stamps creatively on the LO's too.  Unfortunately the evening ended badly when I got home as I misjudged the turning into our drive and scraped the passenger door against the drive pillar - to say I was pig sick is an understatement.

Work has been busy the past couple of days and felt really tired yesterday evening so no crafting has taken place since Mondays workshop.  My friend Sarah called round yesterday evening so that was another reason - would much rather spend some time with friends than try to put something together when tired.

I was supposed to have had a couple of hours in the pharmacy today as I will be starting my new job next week but one of the ladies had to go home sick so I had to stay on in the kitchen instead.  I do get a whole day in there tomorrow which will be good and then I will finally be on set days and hours - hooray.

This evening I am going to meet up with some crafting friends at our friend Moya's house.  I'm going to take along some cross stitch (freebie kits) as my brain is not capable of much else at the moment.  FIL is still not good and becoming more confused, sadly it is a case of just waiting for the inevitable.

On a more positive note my eldest son and his wife seem to be managing well with the new regime they have with Elisha's diabetes so that is good - Elisha has also become quickly used to the routine and although doesn't like having the injections is beginning to understand that she needs them - kids are amazing at adapting to change so much quicker than us adults.

A long weekend off work to look forward to with plans already made for a couple of the days - so looking forward to having my weekends back - it's been two years.

Hi Linda - you look all ready to be productive - we just need more time! Thank you for visiting me - we also have a beautiful Jack Russell (x with a Bichon Frise)who is just a year old - having a puppy was a shock to the system to say the least! But we just adore her.

It appears as those the cards and layouts went well. How neat to spread the joy of card making to scrapbookers. The more the merrier, right? Sorry to hear about your running into your driveway post. That's a good way to put a damper on your evening. Happy crafting!

Sorry to read you had a little altercation with your car, hope the damage can be repaired quickly for you.
Good news Elisha and her parents are adjusting to things.
(Big hug) it's very sad to watch someone we care about drift away before our eyes.

Maybe your grand-daughter should read Rachael's blog, she's Shebafudge's daughter and has diabetes too.
