The challenge for Jingle Belles this week was to use light pink, dark pink and lime green. I've had these gorgeous Anna Griffin papers for over a year now and not used them so they worked perfectly for this challenge (and justified my buying of them). The challenge for Hazel was to add some bling, so I have added tiny little gems to the edge of the scalloped border.

I want to try and do cards for both of these great challenges and was most frustrated that I didn't do one for Hazels last week, but as I've had this week off from work I have managed to catch up with her challenges. The challenge was to incorporate a tree in the design. I came across a Papermania double sided paper while looking for something else (as you do) and the whole page was covered in the circles with Partridges in Pear Trees - perfect. I'm trying to keep the designs simple so all I've done is cut out a decorative circle with a set of nesties I got for Christmas and then added the Merry Christmas stamp to the left of the design.
